Qualcomm's booth at International CTIA-Wireless 2012 displayed a prototype of the first autostereoscopic 3D tablet ever at the convention in New Orleans (May 8-10, 2012). The tablet is an excellent demonstration of the power of the new Snapdragon processor in an Android based device. Stereoscopic 3D user interfaces developed with the KANZI solution is seen as a great way to attack the 3D tablet market for Qualcomm.

Qualcomm's prototype tablet is driven by a Snapdragon S4 mobile processor capable of full 1080p (the resolution is 1920x1200 pixels) HD stereoscopic 3D playback and recording (and even offers unverified quality real-time 2D to 3D conversion).  At CTIA, Qualcomm demonstrated the 3D tablet. Phandroid managed to capture a video showcasing the auto stereoscopic 3D tablet.
