People have been playing games since the dawn of time. Modern 5D technologies help create unprecedented opportunities to immerse audiences into the enticing world of Virtual Reality (VR). Elinext Group, an alliance of custom software development companies, is proud to announce that its part, Eligraphics Studio, broadens expertise in design and software development for interactive VR solutions.
Eligraphics Studio, a producer of high-quality games and animated movies, has recently completed its already third custom 5D game called “Black Gold”. Previous two games were “Western Canyon” and “Ghost Town”. Furthermore, release of the fourth custom 5D game is anticipated in July 2012. “Black Gold” takes players in a virtual Western riding on the motion platform with horse simulators. People become totally involved in what is happening in the game because of active 3D glasses, shooting with light guns, and special effects that impact human perception. These effects include water splashes, smoke, bubbles, light flashes, wind and motion simulation. The game is created with the Unity 3D game engine.
“5D games are progressively moving around the world. A dynamic plot, exciting gameplay and stunning special effects are the major distinctive features of every game developed by Eligraphics Studio. Over the years of our work, we have collected a good deal of experience with Unity3D. This powerful software allows to create excellent games for various platforms, including PCs as well as iOS and Android smartphones and tablets,” said Oleg Kuropatsky, Project Manager at Eligraphics Studio.
“The high level of qualification and creativity of our developers make it possible to produce an ever-expanding variety of software solutions for virtual reality systems and simulators as well as gesture and motion recognition devices,” proceeded Oleg Kuropatsky.
Simulated VR environments generate lifelike experiences and offer significant benefits for training and assessment of trainees’ skills. They are ideal to practice driving, military exercises, jet piloting, surgical operations, etc. VR systems can deliver immediate constructive feedback of results and errors to trainees and their instructors. Therefore, simulators help improve performance and, what is also important, they significantly reduce costs.
The interplay of science, high technology and art can push the limits of possible. Interactivity is a major trend in today’s IT mediated world. In this connection it is appropriate to mention Google TV, much-talked-of Apple TV, Microsoft's Kinect and Samsung Smart TV with voice and motion recognition.
Sergey Morozov, 3D & Games Development Director, concluded: “Keeping pace with the latest advancements in interactive technologies, we support collaboration with multiple hardware manufacturers. This allows us to be on the leading edge of innovation.”
