Entertainment industry veteran Michael Gibilisco and Mark Menta, founder of Malibu Film Group, just announced that they have formed a new partnership to provide conversion and visual effects services to the movie industry.

The new partnership is called IM3D. With a mission of providing compelling, world class, studio quality, immersive entertainment to stakeholders of top-tier motion pictures, the new partnership is sure to deliver the goods necessary for serious 3D conversion.

"3D should enhance a story by making the audience feel they are part of the experience, without getting in the way or creating a distraction", said Mark Menta, CEO of IM3D. "We now have the proven conversion pipeline efficiencies, production capacity and highly skilled workforce with top-tier credits. This along with world class support, allows us to compete at the highest levels of the Industry. The conversion industry and 3D Cinema in general is constantly evolving, which requires continued innovation and partnerships to stay on the cutting edge of technology."

IM3D is focusing on two market segments: Blu-Ray 3D conversions for in-home viewing, and theatrically released (or re-released) big feature films. Think about all the re-released 3D movies coming out, they need someone to do the conversions!

The groups prior conversion experience includes work on "Conan the Barbarian", "Gulliver's Travels", "Hoodwinked Too", "Chronicles of Narnia", Michael Jacksons "This is It", and multiple music videos.

IM3D will base its sales and support office on the famous Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, then put its 2D-to-3D conversion production pipeline and VFX services in India, and end with QC and final delivery based in the US. The company says it has the ability to convert multiple feature films per year. If you are James Cameron and you're reading this, you should give IM3D a call! See their website at www.im3dco.com
