Cheap Sony 3D TV review - UPDATED AGAIN! 7/19/12

Audio: One of the best features of this TV is its built in audio. It has two 3W built in speakers, plus a built in 5W subwoofer (seriously, a subwoofer!). The sound is a little thin, but incredibly good from such a small inexpensive TV. It can get pretty loud too - you'd be surprised what 11 watts can do! All in all, its nice not to have to buy an external speaker system and run a bunch of messy wires.

3D: The 3D capability is the reason to buy this TV, so how is it? I'm happy to report its really good! Since the TV is active 3D, the coloration and quality of the images is awesome. Sony made the right choice when they went active. It helps bring the amazing graphics from their powerful Playstation 3 system into pop-off-the-screen 3D (if you don't like things jumping out at you, don't worry! You can adjust how aggressive the 3D effect is). There is also a dedicated 3D button on the back of the TV. You can select auto 3D mode, side-by-side mode, or top-and-bottom mode. This comes in handy if you want to watch a 3D video on YouTube, for example. Just press the button, select side-by-side or top-and-bottom, and away you go! When you play a 3D game, the auto mode automatically switches on the glasses and TV to 3D. The edges of 3D images are decently natural looking, they are not super sharp looking like you can get with anaglyph 3D images. Overall, I'm definitely impressed with the 3D!
