Cirque du Soleil makes 3D Motion Tracking Web App with Google Chrome

Cirque du Soleil created a 3D circus in the Chrome web browser today at the Google IO. Its pretty wild stuff!
The web demo was run entirely online, using motion tracking from a Chromebook camera to map the movements of a user. The demo even included running the app on a tablet (an iPad in this case), using the accelerometer to navigate the 3D environment. This is all very impressive stuff, especially considering it was rendered in smooth 3D.
This really shows off Chromes capabilities. By the way, Chrome has been confirmed with 310 Million users - thats a lot of bread. The international super-circus made the 3D web content by combining HTML, video, and markup, to create a virtual environment all tied together with CSS. The rest of Google's IO included the release of the Nexus 7 and Nexus Q; Google's own hardware to go up against Apple, plus Android Jellybean.
