Create 3D pictures yourself with some very different and cutting-edge tech. It has no equivalent on the iPhone.

3D Camera does not require 3D or red-blue glasses, or a 3D-capable phone. Any phone with Android >= 2.1 can run it. The program uses s experimental algorithms to generate an OpenGL rendering of a 3D scene computed from your own pictures. You can navigate freely in the scene: move in all directions and zoom in/out. The accelerometer is also supported.

If you have one photo the process is fairly straight forward You draw two lines with your finger to set the depth of the photo and let the program do its work. If you want to layer photos to create a scene, that requires a server-assisted method uploads your pictures to a server to determine the depth of the scene automatically.

We found the app a tad buggy and it crashes with large photos. However, it;s fun enough, easy to try and you might reate interesting images to share.
