Cogs is a ground-breaking puzzle game where players build increasingly complex machines using sliding tiles in 2D and 3D environments. The free demo version includes just the first 8 puzzles. The full version ($1.99) comes with 50 puzzles and three gameplay modes for a total of 150 unique challenges, totaling more than 10 hours of mind-bending game play.

The game play is smooth and fun. But really, try the free version first to see if it is something you like. You will defiantly get the idea of the game. There are multiple modes of play.

INVENTOR MODE: Starting with simple puzzles, players are introduced to the widgets that are used to build machines — gears, pipes, balloons, chimes, hammers, wheels, props, and more.
TIME CHALLENGE MODE: If you finish a puzzle in Inventor Mode, it will be unlocked here. This time, it will take fewer moves to reach a solution, but you only have 30 seconds to find it.
MOVE CHALLENGE MODE: Take your time and plan ahead. Every click counts when you only get ten moves to find a solution.

Leader boards and achievements are available through Openfeint. This allows you to compete a little with your friends, (click discover known accounts to find them) see how you match up world wide and unlock achievement levels as you play.
