Imagination Farm is a company based out of Houston, Texas (and Milan, Italy) that was formed by a trio of Italians with some good ideas. They realized that they could produce the amazing effect of RealFiction 3D Displays (which cost more money than a 24kt gold toilet) by using a simple Smartphone or Tablet as the video display instead of an expensive proprietary system.
The result? Fantastic... and costs much, much less than a Louis Vuitton Skateboard (yeah, that actually exists, just look here). Starting at only $28 with free shipping during the Kickstarter campaign, this hologram generator really takes the cake. Did I mention its made in Italy?
The HOLHO Collection also includes several other displays, some big enough for full picture-frame style desktop display using your tablet or iPad. The possibilities are endless - use it in your house, at your business, or just to show off (who doesn't love holograms?!). Another positive? The display requires no separate power or crazy setup. Just add your smartphone or tablet and away you go.
