This is actually very simple. First, you need a passive 3D TV. This will not work with active 3D TVs (the kind with glasses you need to plug in). You can use any Xbox, PlayStation, Wii, or even Game Cube. Actually, you can use any console that has split-screen multiplayer.
Second, you need to get 2 pairs of the cheap movie theater 3D glasses. Take the left lens out of 1 pair of glasses. Then take the right lens out of the other pair. Now, use some glue and swap the lens into the hole in the other glasses (I know they aren't the same, thats the point).
After you figure that out, its time to get playing. Open your game multiplayer game in split screen mode. If the screens are split vertically, then use "side-by-side" 3D mode on the TV. If they are split horizontally, use "top-and-bottom" mode. Now, put on your pair of 3D glasses and have your friend put on his (or hers, if your girlfriend is into that kind of thing - lucky you). You might need to trade glasses to see the correct player, but you will see your player's view in full screen, not that horrible tiny split screen. Congrats, you did it!
Post a comment if you have trouble with this hack, but its pretty easy. Enjoy!
