Students at the Tokyo Metropolitan University Graduate School of System Design are working on virtual body technology.
They are incorporating a 3-D monitor with other devices like a vibrating/leaning chair, moving foot pedals head phones and fans to disburse odors to the environment. All this to make a completely immersible technology that could transport you immediately on a trip to say Hawaii or join in on real time on some other persons experience.
All travel set aside, I can't wait for the Xbox version.
