Raising almost $3 Million in a month.


Formlabs, a spin off from the MIT Media Labs is dedicated to designing a low cost 3D desktop printer. They looked to kick started on help with funding the project on Sept 29th with the goal of raising $100,000. The exceeded that goal almost immediately and ended up raising $2,945,885 in a one month time frame!

Pre-orders will be available soon, yet there is no indication of price points as yet.
