Shock Till You Drop has a one-on-one interview with Texas Chainsaw 3D director John Luessenhop
In a brief interview with John Luessenhop, Shock Till You Drop looked for some insight into the making of Texas Chainsaw 3D scheduloed to be released 1/3/2013.
"You say "chainsaw" and people immediately think of a tool that's scary. The series has such a history. You had the first one, to me, which is strictly horror. The others got kitschy and I think people like that, too. This current we have has all of the horror but it has a bit of a wink to it so it's not taking itself 100% seriously.

I don't know about you, but I take a crazy man in a human mask with a chainsaw pretty darn serious. Just the trailer freaked me out (2:15). Looking forward to!
