We've heard uses for almost everything, but the folks at BlizziDent.com have come up with a way to use 3D technology to brush your teeth in 6 seconds - perfectly.
Blizzident makes a 3D model of your teeth that is from a traditional impression made by your dentist. Or, if you have a dentist that has the Invisilne line of product, they may do a 3D Scan right there for you. From that the design a custom tailored "tooth brush" that you bite down on. Actually, more accurately I think you would call it a "teeth brush" as it is designed to scrub all your teeth at the same time at the recommend 45 degree angle, instead of the one or two teeth that a normal brush would use. The Blizzident will even help floss during use as well as clean your tongue.
"The bristles are tailored and positioned on every single tooth in a way so they are brushing with the "Modified Bass"- and "Fones"-techniques simply by biting and grinding for a few seconds. "Modified Bass"- and "Fones"-techniques are recommended by dentists and prophylaxis assistants worldwide.
Because you are brushing all your teeth at the same time, you are brushing extremely quickly. You brush all the difficult-to-reach and interdental regions without even having to think about it."
The Blizzident currently cost $299.00 (plus dentist appointment) and last for about 1 year before needing a replacement. That might seem pricey, however Sonic Tooth Brushes can run about $200 and are not formed you your specific mouth. Also, this product could literally save you one day per year in time. (2 minutes brushing x 2 times per day x 365 days / 60 = 24.333 hours) (6 seconds x 2 times per day x 365 / 60 / 60 = 1.21 hours) Coupe that with the fact that you can guaranty no one will ever "borrow" your tooth brush - and they may be on to something.
