123D Creature allows you to make all sorts of 3D characters in high detail then, print them with either a 3D printing service or, for the lucky ones who can, at home.
Although Autodesk software is known for its high end abilities CAD design abilities, 123D Creature is really intended for amateurs and hobbyists to create furry, feathered, scally, what-evers and introduce to the world of 3D Sculpting and printing. The interface is intutive and the leanring curve is not steep at all.
If you're into this sort of thing, grab it now. The intro price is $1.99 but will be jumping to $7.99. Only available at the iStore, for now.
