Heaven Benchmark is a GPU-intensive benchmark that in intended to push graphics cards to their limits. Using this apporach the program can then determine speed, stability and overall awesomeness of your video card and system.
The benchmark produces high end OpenGL video to approixmate PC games play immersing the user into a magical steampunk world of shiny brass, wood and gears. Nested on flying islands, a tiny village with its cozy, sun-heated cobblestone streets, an elaborately crafted dirigible above the expanse of fluffy clouds, and a majestic dragon on the central square gives a true sense of adventure. An interactive experience with fly-by and walk-through modes allows for exploring all corners of this world powered by the cutting-edge UNIGINE Engine that leverages the most advanced capabilities of graphics APIs and turns this benchmark into a visual masterpiece.
Honestly, the images of 4.0 are pretty much the same as the last version. The real difference is in the nuts and bolts of the benchmark software itself.
Here's a YouTube version of what it looks like. We added a 3D enhancement, for those of us cool kids with glasses. The conversion really brings out the depth of this one nicely. If you do not see the 3D icon on the bottom of the video tool bar, click the change quality icon and it should show up then.
Heavan is cross platform , coming in Windows, Mac and Linux flavors. The download is around 250 MB depending on which OS. Warp2Search.net has been kind enough to set up several mirrors set up for each version.
